With the rise of online shopping, buying tobacco and vape products has never been more convenient. Unfortunately, it has also become easier for counterfeit and low-quality products to enter the market. Knowing how to verify authenticity can save you money, protect your health, and ensure you get the experience you paid for.

Buy From a Reputable Retailer The simplest way to avoid fake products is to purchase from a trusted, established retailer. Look for clear contact information, customer reviews, and a professional website. If a deal seems too good to be true, it often is.

Check the Packaging Authentic products usually have high-quality packaging with clear printing, proper seals, and accurate branding. Counterfeit items may have blurry logos, misspelled words, uneven colours, or poor-quality materials. Compare the packaging with official product images when in doubt.

Look for Batch Codes and Security Seals Many legitimate tobacco and vape products include batch codes, QR codes, or security seals. These can often be verified through the manufacturer’s official website or customer service. If these features are missing or look tampered with, be cautious.

Understand the Price Range If a product is being sold far below the typical market price, that is a red flag. Counterfeit sellers often use extremely low prices to attract buyers. While everyone loves a good deal, authenticity should never be compromised for a few dollars.

Read Customer Reviews Reviews can reveal a lot about a retailer and their products. Look for feedback about product quality, packaging condition, and delivery reliability. Consistent negative reviews about authenticity are a clear warning sign.
